Care: Fragrances in soaps & detergents can cling to silicone. To keep your Dram Clams pure, use unscented soap only. A simple "rinse & rub" with plain water is all that’s required to care for your Dram Clam.
Extra Weight: It's not necessary, and we haven't scientifically tested this theory, but if you'd like to add a little bit of extra weight to your lid to make the seal even tighter, trying using a heavy round thing like a large nut (from a giant bolt) or a few washers or a Super Bowl ring or even your wedding ring will add some weight (and make your Dram Clam sparkle) *warning: this may get you in trouble.
